Data Labeler / Game Data Analyst (Mobile & Video Games)

Are you passionate about games and excited by the chance to influence how AI understands them? We’re looking for an Data Labeler with a background in video games or mobile app games to help shape the quality of AI systems. Your knowledge of gameplay, player experience, and game ecosystems will directly impact how AI evaluates content, making insights more accurate, fair, and useful to millions of users.

This is more than a labeling job — it’s a chance to use your gaming expertise as a data quality analyst and subject matter expert, ensuring that models capture the reality of how games work and how players engage with them.

What You’ll Do

Apply your gaming knowledge to curate high-quality datasets that reflect real player experiences in mobile and video games.
Investigate model performance by comparing AI vs. human judgments and identifying where guidelines or outputs miss the mark.
Refine guidelines and quality checks (e.g., relevance, clarity, value-add) using your experience in QA, LiveOps, ads, or product management.
Act as a game-focused data specialist, helping ensure AI understands game content, mechanics, monetization, and user engagement.
Provide timely insights on escalations, connecting data decisions back to real game and product outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in data labeling, QA, analytics, or operations in gaming or mobile apps.
A strong understanding of game ecosystems, such as:
Free-to-play (F2P)
In-app purchases (IAP)
Subscriptions and ad monetization
User acquisition and retention strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with ecosystems such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore, or gaming platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, or PlayStation.
Experience working with labeling or annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, SuperAnnotate, Appen, Scale AI, Doccano).
Prior experience in app store moderation, content rating, or trust & safety roles.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Game Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
