This position is temporary and/or intermittent in nature. Length of service is greater than 100 hours. This will be a hybrid work experience, with in-person presence required approximately 1-2 days per week, as well as some nights and weekends for events and other program activities.
The Foundation and Guild Association (FGA) seeks an intern to assist the team across various project areas, including supporting the donor experience, stewardship, and workforce giving, as well as coordinating in-person and virtual fundraising events during the busy summer season, including but not limited to projects within the Guild Association, Individual Annual Giving, Community Events and Programs, and other activities as needed. They will learn about the field of philanthropy and gain exposure to various aspects of fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and private grants.
FGA works with people in the community who want to make a difference at Seattle Children’s. Our teams work with individuals, schools and other groups to engage in a range of activities, including hosting and coordinating large-scale public fundraising events, connecting individuals who want to contribute to a specific area with Seattle Children’s experts in that area, and applying for private grants on behalf of the hospital and research institute.
