Reports directly to: Shift Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess required authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be capable of learning basic computer functions.
- Must be capable of keeping accurate records.
- Must be capable of organizing and planning.
- Must be able to follow oral and written directions.
- Must be a certified forklift driver.
- Candidates may be required to take a reading, writing and basic math competency test.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
- Shall have a thorough understanding of batch sheets.
- Shall be held responsible for the accuracy of all ingredients scaled to put into batches.
- Shall be held responsible for excessive loss or gain of hand scaled ingredients.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean.
- Shall follow all safety, GMP and food processing guidelines.
- Responsible for correctly recording all lot numbers and receiving dates.
- Responsible for promptly labeling all partials.
- Responsible for observing the allergen program.
- Responsible for assisting with inventory control.
- Responsible for correctly labeling all weigh-ups.
- Responsible for using ingredients per first in/first out (FIFO) guidelines.
- Responsible for communicating with relief person any necessary information that may prevent confusion or mistakes.
- Responsible for any task assigned by management.
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the safety, legality and quality of the products manufactured for the customers of BCW Food Products.
