➡️ What You'll Do
Docusign is excited to offer a Search & Reporting Engineering Internship to a driven and innovative junior college student. The intern will be able to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real-world projects that drive our business forward.
This position will introduce the intern to various Search & Reporting technologies, including Apache Cassandra, Elasticsearch, PrestoDB, and Azure and provide a platform for prototyping and productizing solutions for real business use cases at scale.

📁 This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Engineering.
🔘 Responsibility
- Architect and design components
- Solve problems at scale and build fault tolerant systems
- Develop high-quality, ship-ready code that is covered by a full test suite
- Share and adopt the best performance and availability practices for one or more functional area
- Work with Product Management, Designer, UX Research and other developers to understand and convert marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development
- Work closely with quality engineers to identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes
- Work as part of a cross-country development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products
- Track metrics and create thorough documentation related to areas of ownership
📍Job Designation: Hybrid
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

🔘 What You Bring
🔁 Basic
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Junior standing graduating in 2026, December 2025
- Demonstrated development experience in one or more of the following languages: C#, Java, JavaScript
🔘 Preferred
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, Cassandra, and - Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Enthusiasm for learning and working with different technologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to tackle complex challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to receive and give feedback
📌 Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: 💵 Illinois and Colorado: $31.00/hour - $36.00/hour
