Gruma Corporation has an opening forMaintenanceManager in Grand Prairie, TX. Coordinate, plan, control, and monitor the overall operation of themaintenancedepartment. Ensure the continuous ability of the equipment to service our customers while maintaining high standards in quality, food safety, and safety and meeting the department’s budget. Participate as an active member in the safety, quality and food safety committees. Conduct training sessions for the department employees, including safety, food safety, and technical. Purchase all materials required for the operation of the department including safety equipment. Conduct safety training for new hires. Maintain documentation of all training activities. Monitor and ensure work order system operates effectively ensuring safety, food safety and other operational work orders are addressed promptly. Ensure equipment performs in a safety manner and complies with OSHA regulations. Develop and implement improvements and changes in the work instructions, job descriptions and training needs. Maintain and improve the preventivemaintenanceprogram, ensuring the preventivemaintenancescheduled is followed accordingly. Ensure all plant equipment is properly maintained per manufacturer recommendations and in accordance with the preventivemaintenanceschedule.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
Requires three years of experience in the following:
- Developing and testing electrical, control, and automation machinery in production and manufacturing plant environments;
- Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs;
- Establishing and maintaining productivity standards;
- Reading and analyzing electrical diagrams;
- Installing, programming and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers, Variable Frequency Drives and all types of AC and DC electrical and mechanical equipment;
- Installing and repairing electrical conduit, cables, piping, and tubing, including all necessary connections, controls and grounding;
- Disassembling, repairing and reassembling gear boxes, fans conveyors, blowers, compressors, pumps, valves, furnaces, drives and all allied mechanical equipment related to electrical troubleshooting;
- Providing training in safety, operations preventative maintenance, productivity, company standards and procedures, and occupational safety regulations and compliance.
