Business Manager
The Business Manager works closely with Sales, Commercialization, Research and Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Finance. This is a hybrid role of customer service, project coordination, and sales support providing relationship maintenance and account management for existing customers and reports through the Director of Business Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management & Process Improvement:
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with clients as well as internal stakeholders, ensuring that all deliverables are within scope and budget.
- Filter inbound customer information.
- Leads weekly tactical meetings with customers
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of quarterly business reviews and project scope proposals.
- Manage cross functional teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver customer projects and process improvements.
- Provides customer service support to Directors of Business Management and other Business Managers
- Has goals associated with existing customer retention and the overall Business Management Group sales targets
- Production Planning & Scheduling:
- Collaborate with customers to develop, distribute, and track production plans and schedules.
- Work with cross functional teams to address and resolve issues related to schedule changes, inbound raw materials, delivery schedules, and outbound finished goods.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Measure and track account performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Gather, analyze, and monitor sales and production data to track and report on results. Assist in the sales forecasting process.
- Run, distribute, and maintain reporting requirements for clients.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite and detail orientated
- Highly motivated
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, planning and organizing skills
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Supply chain and ERP systems experience is a plus.
