The
Director of Procurement, US & Sourcing Coordinator, NAM is a U.S. leadership role, overseeing national procurement functions with regional coordination. This leader is responsible for managing procurement strategy and operations across all U.S. manufacturing and distribution sites, leading a team of procurement managers and analysts, and partnering with cross-functional teams such as Planning and Finance to drive P&L results. This role will also support and align sourcing activities across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico-ensuring consistency in supplier strategy, category management, and cost optimization while supporting sustainability and growth objectives. Based at the U.S. headquarters in Pennsauken, NJ, the position reports to the US VP of Operations and maintains functional alignment with the Group Procurement Director, collaborating closely with country GMs and regional stakeholders.

Relocation assistance available!Primary Responsibilities: - Define and implement a cohesive procurement strategy for North America (U.S., Canada, Mexico), aligning regional and country-specific needs with global objectives
- Coordinate sourcing activities and manage supplier relationships using strategic sourcing methodologies, including performance improvement plans, ethical sourcing practices, and supplier segmentation
- Analyze market trends and cost drivers to support sustainability, efficiency, and business growth
- Promote innovation, ensure sustainability, and maintain high standards of supplier performance and accountability
- Coordinate the development and execution of regional category strategies, ensuring alignment across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
- Drive category spend harmonization by identifying opportunities for consolidation, volume leverage, and cost optimization in support of broader business objectives
- Coordinate regional procurement operations across North America, including supplier selection, contract negotiation and governance, cost optimization, and contract lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency
- Ensure alignment with global procurement initiatives by serving as the primary liaison between North America and Group Procurement, facilitating the local execution of global strategies and collaborating on shared objectives.
- Identify training and tool needs to improve procurement efficiency across the North America Region
- Collaborate with Pricing to optimize profit margins by managing raw material price evolutions and incorporating savings into margins
- Develop and execute raw materials cover strategies in cooperation with the business to minimize impacts from fluctuating commodities markets
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ESG commitments
- Develop, implement, and execute strategies to maximize the company's leverage with suppliers, aligned with business objectives
- Foster innovation and develop potential new suppliers and alternate sources
- Understand and implement requirements related to the company's Global supplier diversity initiative, including setting and measuring performance targets
- Drive Operational Excellence (CI) initiatives for the region
- Develop and adopt digital/AI solutions to accelerate productivity and efficiencies
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred in a relevant discipline: business administration, economics, food science
- 10 years related experience with 7+ years of relevant leadership experience, preferably in purchasing with direct material experience
- Extensive experience in food procurement with strong background in globally traded commodities such as sugar, flour, cocoa, dairy
- Proven track record managing global spend upwards of $100M with strong knowledge of international markets
- Work experience in Food or CPG
- Experience leading leaders, providing coaching, developing talent, and building a high-performance team
- Experience managing both commodity and non-commodity items.
- Experience managing commodity items specifically food ingredients with knowledge of hedging, coverage and futures markets.
- Cultural awareness and experience of diversity
- Understand and masters the usage of SAP or an equivalent ERP system
- Must be detailed oriented, organized and able to function effectively and productively in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Possess strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Works and has a strong ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines

Compensation: - Compensation for this role is salaried and will be based on your experience, skills, and location, with a typical range between $184,100 and $223,500.
- This role is eligible for a targeted annual bonus equal to 20%. Final bonus payouts are determined by both individual and company performance.
