Summary:
Join our Cell Therapy Analytical Development team to drive breakthrough innovations in engineered immune cell therapies. In this hands-on role, you will design, optimize, and qualify robust cell-based potency and functional assays—advancing allogeneic T cell products using cutting-edge gene-editing tools. You’ll leverage your expertise in cell culture, assay development, and advanced analytics to deliver high-quality scientific data supporting both process and product development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize cell-based potency assays (cell killing, proliferation, cytokine production) for engineered T cells and NK cells
- Leverage advanced gene-editing technologies (CRISPR/Cas, RNAi) to develop and optimize potency methods that both assess the functional efficacy of engineered cell systems and evaluate the effectiveness of gene-editing strategies
- Ensure analytical methods meet ICH/USP qualification standards and support regulatory filings
- Conduct, analyze, document laboratory experiments, and maintain detailed records
- Support assay transfer and training activities with internal and external teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with partners to drive GxP-qualified method development
- Oversee lab operations, including inventory and equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. (0–2 years), MS (2-4 years) or BS (5+ years) in Immunology, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or related field
- Experience with ELISA/MSD, Luminex, qPCR, flow cytometry, and/or similar tools
- Strong cell culture, data analysis, documentation, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $111,060 - $134,600, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
