Reports directly to: Controller
Qualifications:
· Must be a U.S. citizen, or have the required authorization to work in the U.S.
· Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area required.
· At least five years of relevant experience.
· Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to create intermediate to advance formulas and work with external data import.
· Problem solving, attention to detail, positive attitude and results oriented.
· Strong interpersonal/communication, collaboration and partnering skills.
Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
· Process accounting transactions (including bank entries, journal entries, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets) in a timely and accurate manner.
· Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts such as Cash, Accounts Receivable, Prepaid, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accruals and other Balance Sheet accounts to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and account balances are accurately stated in accordance with GAAP and Company policy, as assigned.
· Reconcile general ledger and sub ledger accounts to source data and systems to ensure all transactions have been accurately recorded.
· Participate in physical inventory count and reconciliation.
· Complete month end closing activities, schedules, and reporting to meet corporate accounting and reporting requirements.
· Generate daily, weekly, monthly reports, aging and analysis reports.
· Assist in annual and interim audits, providing documentation and communicating with auditors.
· Assists with tax and other regulatory reporting and filings.
· Support Controller and CFO with special assignments.
· Responsible for any other task assigned by management.
· Shall comply with all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
