Your Role at Baxter
This document outlines the employment prerequisites and job responsibilities for the position of Manufacturing Rework Technician.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for performing all in process rework of Spectrum production pumps, according to rework instructions.
- Follows rework procedures, involving use of small hand tools, test and holding fixtures and measuring devices (drop gages, etc.).
- Maintains and ensures production line output through the constant monitoring and communication of in-process problems or failures with workmanship, parts or process.
- Complete all documentation needed for quality compliance
- Ability to handle often stressful production demands, demonstrates team work and cooperation
- Strong Knowledge of pump and manufacturing practices
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical devices.
- Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision, including required documentation needed for compliance.
- Good Judgment, Positive attitude and a high level of initiative
- Ability to visually inspect and identify particulate/foreign matter and distinguish between colors as required by FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices
What you'll bring
- High School diploma or GED
- Technical or military experience in the electronics manufacturing field, not required but would be a plus.

- Must be able to sit for most of the work day.
- Must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity
- Physical Requirements: Dynamic Lifting capability: Must have the ability to lift and carry 15 pounds from floor to shoulder and lift 2 pounds from shoulder to overhead. Must also have the capability to push and pull a maximum force of 6 pounds.

This is a manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA and many other work rules to prevent damage to the product we manufacture. Some of those work rules include but are not limited to:
- Wearing a static protective smock at all times while in the work area
- Wearing a ground wrist strap and plugging that wrist strap into the working table.
- Working in close proximity to other employees.
- Working in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The rate for this position is $25.95 per hour.
