The Operations and Finance Assistant will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the Managing Director. These duties will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with daily operational tasks such as office management, vendor coordination, internal scheduling, record/document organization, and ad hoc project management.
Handling various and sundry accounting, Opus database and financial projects such as:
- Issuing commission statements and tour summaries to artist teams, ushering them from client approval to payment resolution.
- Coordinating with Agent teams to track and resolve show finals and payments in service of expediting artist settlements.
- Advising clients on income reporting, tax questions, and tour financials.
- Handling agency-wide 1042-S / EFTPS filings.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of company policies and best practices.
- Light event planning.
Ideal candidates possess the following:
- Organizational prowess, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a passion for accuracy, and a flare for proactive problem solving.
- An excellent working knowledge of Google Drive, Mac, Excel and Word.
- Strong math proficiency.
- Demonstrable composure, tact and stress management.
- 1-2 years music industry experience is required, ideally in a booking or live entertainment setting that involves familiarity with settlement sheets, complex artist deal structures, and basic accounting best practices.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is professional and personable, able to multitask effectively (while prioritizing time-sensitive projects), attentive to details both large and small, and has a familiarity with our roster.

This is a full-time position with eligibility for company-sponsored benefits. Compensation begins at $45,000 annually. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to: market dynamics, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one circumstantial element of the total compensation package for employees.
