ROLE
We are seeking a highly collaborative R&D technician to support the company’s product development efforts. You will join a rapidly growing, interdisciplinary team of five exceptional scientists and engineers collaborating closely to introduce our innovative materials to the wind turbine and automotive markets.
Your essential responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments and perform mechanical, thermal, and chemical testing on various materials to evaluate their properties and performance.
- Collect, record, and analyze experimental data using appropriate techniques and software. Present data and findings to the R&D team and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the scaling up of lab-developed materials to production levels.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and materials, placing orders as needed.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Our preferred qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D setting.
- Hands-on experience with material characterization techniques and equipment.
- Experience with 3D printing is preferrable.
