Overview
The Solution Template Engineer owns the planning, design, build, maintenance, and deployment of Origami market specific standard solutions. This role requires heavy product configuration rather than actual product development.
Responsibilities
- Maintains clean and fully functional solutions in the market-specific standard databases.
- Participates in design sprints to solve product gaps across all markets
- Gathers requirements from stakeholders to understand needs for new product features
- Builds working prototypes to prove out the concept to all stakeholders, as well as to springboard the development effort for coded solutions
- Ensures published functionality is current and available to clients via the Solution Repository.
- Collects regular feedback from MSLs and Service on ways to improve the market specific service standard databases.
- Maintains a prioritized listing of solutions to be added to the service standard databases.
- Maintains and updates standard configuration as new platform features and components are released.
Regression tests configured solution templates in conjunction with product releases.
Assists the Service Team on existing solution templates as needed.
Maintains a prioritized listing of all historical, current, and future market specific database requests received.
Develops consistent communication methods with other teams to ensure all requests are compiled and prioritized properly.
Works with Design team understand, prototype, and design new requirements.
Coordinates with other market configuration owners to standardize approach and best practices across markets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a solution engineering role.
- Familiar with Web Service APIs
- Familiar with SQL Server - ability to compose medium to complex queries.
- Familiar with HTML, XML, JavaScript.
- Experience with technical requirements gathering and converting it into business needs.
