What will a Pharmacy Technician do every day on the Transition Team?
- Supports all facility transitions including onboarding, ownership changes, eMAR/Integration changes, and offboarding.
- Individuals on this team will work with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure our customers have a positive experience and build strong relationships with account managers.
- Manage Customer Transitions processes, including partnering with relevant team leaders, facilitating transition update meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and providing overall project management for transitions
- Provide conversion order entry and patient support for transitions
- Provide backup order entry and patient admission support to operations teams as needed
Pharmacy Tech minimum requirements will include:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Active Pharmacy Technician License required
- Ability to obtain multiple state Pharmacy Technician licenses and National Pharmacy Technician Certification through an accredited program
- 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Experience in pharmacy order management and admissions preferred
- Strong computer skills and experience using a document management program
- Knowledge of drugs and drug categories
- Must be comfortable working with various types of technology
- Must be able to actively contribute to a positive team environment
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, remain focused, and work independently
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
You must be reliable and have a solid work history to be seriously considered for the position.
Position hours: Eight-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is a must.
