What you'll do
The Software Engineer will own all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) application. You will primarily use the Microsoft technology stack, however we also embrace open source technologies such as Redis, Cassandra and Elasticsearch. You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.
Responsibility
- Develop high quality, maintainable code in C# .Net or other object-oriented languages
- Work in ASP.NET MVC, SQL Databases, HTML and CSS, and JavaScript, as well as Cassandra or similar NoSQL databases
- Work as part of a passionate, agile development team to deliver engaging web user experiences
- Work with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development
- Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, continuous integration, code reviews, version control systems, and automated build processes
- Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
- Research new features and technologies
- Fix production issues and maintain the code as needed
Participate in live site reviews and help implement new features and processes to improve site reliability
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- B.S. in Computer Science or similar field of study
- 5+ years of professional experience in Fullstack software development applying both frontend and backend technologies, like React, Typescript, C#, Java, or similar OOP
- 2+ years of professional experience in designing backend APIs using frameworks and patterns like REST, GraphQL, etc.
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack (e.g., C#, .NET, ASP.NET)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience with SQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, - SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Cosmos DB)
- Experience with Enterprise SaaS software products
- Knowledge of service reliability and incident response standard methodologies
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $129,000.00 - $182,250.00 base salary
Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
